A birthday and a staff picnic

A birthday breakfast for Ross

A few weeks ago we had headed up to the mountains for a family picnic the World Vision Cyprus team. The day of the picnic co-incided with Ross' birthday, so it was a double celebration for us. Unlike last year's World Vision picnic which was rained out (we somehow managed to pick the one day in summer when it decided to rain in Cyprus!), this year the weather was perfect, and around 70 staff and families were glad to get to some higher elevations in Troodos foothills and escape the searing heat of Nicosia.

A great time was had by all, especially the kids who participated in various activities. We are blessed to have a great team of local and international staff in the regional office in Cyprus.  See below for a few pictures of the picnic, along with a few other recent photos of the kids:
